Who we are

Fokusbloks is based in Helsinki, Finland. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it means Fokusbloks.

What data we collect and why

SEO site check

When you run a site check, we collect your domain name and, if you choose to unlock the full report, your email address. We use this to generate and deliver your report. Your email may also be used to send you a follow-up with recommendations. We store this data in a secure database hosted on Neon (EU region).

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use Resend to deliver these messages to our inbox. We do not store contact form submissions beyond email delivery.

AI chat

If you use the chat assistant on our site, your messages are sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not store chat conversations. OpenAI's data processing terms apply to the AI-generated responses.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (country level). Google Analytics uses cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free and privacy-friendly.

Cookies

We use cookies only for Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings without affecting the functionality of our site.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following service providers:

  • Neon (database hosting, EU) — stores site check data
  • Resend (email delivery) — processes contact form submissions
  • OpenAI (AI processing) — processes chat messages
  • Google (analytics) — collects anonymized usage data
  • Vercel (hosting and analytics) — hosts the site, collects anonymized usage data

Data retention

Site check reports are stored indefinitely so you can revisit them. Email addresses collected through the site check are retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained according to Google and Vercel default settings.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at benjam@fokusbloks.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
